I am having troubles with copying HIde and seek. along with some other DVD's. I use DVD decrypter to encrypt to HD, then Shrink to compress and burn. The DVDD does fine but when I open shrink it shuts down my puter or freezes it about half way through encoding. Any suggestions?

hide and seek has interlacing several version tied around one main file this makes it quite a challenge but conquerable. I was able to do it w/ the dynamic duo(dvdd&dvds) and dvd-rb
the whole p.c. shutting down thing sounds to me like heat issues try a fan or other means to keep it cool encoding is quite the hungry puppy scratch that ravenous beast when it comes to cpu usage.
are you re-authoring as removing certain menues might interfere w/ the interlacing not sure on this just an assumption I would take away from previews only and see if that helps out I actually did full movie maybe taking out foreign subtext hard to recall. keep us posted w/ any new developments

yeah I found out that it was a heat issue. I put a fan in and opened up the case and now it seems to do fine. Thanx for your help.
