i just downloaded a dvd with 3 movies on it.
it had the logo and information for every movie. you can pick
which movie you want to watch. the quality was good ( it was very
cool ). my question is,what program or programs do i use to do this, and how do i use it. thanks for all everybody's help

It was probably a dvd comprised of 3 svcds wrapped up using a dvd authoring software program. Have a look at the guides sections

i'm not sure if this is the right guide, how can you put 3 movies on one disk and have the choice of what movie you want to watch

thanks for all your help.i'm still not sure how to do this.
i did make a dvd with 3 movies on it, but i can't pick the movie i want to watch.i have to watch the firt 2 to watch movie 3.
i guess the question is, what program do i use to make a menu
so i can pick the movie i want to watch.
and how do i use it.all 3 movies are from dvd's.

use TMPGEnc dvd author.
Add 3 tracks in "source setup", each a seperate movie.
In "Create Menu" you will see the 3 videos.
When you finish the dvd and burn it you will have the same menu options as you can see on the menu screen. So... you will be able to pick any of the 3 videos on the dvd disk on your stand-alone. Does this help?

@brow, after spending hours on the net, i managed to type "tmpgenc dvd author" into google. Surprise surprise...
