hey guys i have a question if i was to go buy a gameshark will it boot up on my modded ps2 and then play my back up games

the old gameshark for ps1 will boot your psx backups where as the gameshark 2 will boot up your ps2 backups... i wouldnt rely on the gameshark 2 though. in order for it to work you have to put the gameshark card into your memory card slot. somehow i've burnt up 2 of these things and they never worked after that. i switched to swap magic discs and are much happier.

To answer your question, it should work with backups. i've got both gameshark and ar max and they work with almost all of my backups.

most mods are gameshark ready where you can insert the gameshark and use the gameshark to help you beat backup games. gameshark 2 works with my backups.
