www.mod-chip.com is better than o.k. Excellent customer service and excellent delivery times. The front case is o.k if you use the slide card - I'm sure it'll work fine. Have you considered buying a flip top case instead? I think the flip top cases are less of a hassle to use than the slide card.

Thanx for info. I'll most likely buy from them. Well w/ wife and baby = no extra $150 around for a flip top. lol

Thanx, I finaly checked the covers out. That does look easier than a slide card. A few questions though... How do you open it w/o hitting eject?(seperate button to open flip top I take it?) Does the tray still slide out as well? Is that all you do is swap covers? (there's no tabs to install as well.) Appreciate the help in picking the best and easiest way to go. I'm not skilled enough to put in a mod chip. Oh, one last thing is this the best(or only)place to buy it?? Are they a good place to buy from. http://www.customps2.com/site/pages/prods/ps2_blackft.html

There's no button to open the flip top - you just open it with your fingers. If you get the right case fro your PS2 model then the eject button and tray will work as normal. If you have an older version of PS2 all you have to do is swap covers. With the slim line PS2 you don't have to swap any cover but you have to insert about 3 plastic tabs on your PS2. A good source for PS2 stuff is mod-chip.com.

Alien13 I'm also from Australia!! Anyway, there's heaps of places that flip top cases - do a google search to see who stocks them and to compare prices. In Australia I bought mine from coolpc.com.au which I found had the cheapest flip top cases.

They deliver it to your door, and to pay for it you just put the money into their bank account once you hvae confirmed the order they will send a message with the description you need to put with, when you put in the money to their account.
If you do it online you put in their account details and the ammount of money and there will be a description box, you put in there what they sent you in the email (eg. order number:6462956892 or Swap magic Discs.)
If you do it over the counter you give them the info about the account and the money and then tell them to put the description with the transfer aswell, write it on the piece of paper to make it easyier to do.
Their bank is commonwealth, i think.

If $$$ is an issue than just use the redneck fliptop. My buddy does. He just leaves off the ps2 top and left out the screws for the top of the dvd drive. When he swaps games, he just lifts off the drive top. The magnet holds it on when a game is in and spinning. It's ugly and I rag on him all the time, but it didn't cost him anything but 5 minutes.
