Hey guys, both CompUSA and Best Buy have the 50 pack of Sony brand DVD+R or DVD-R on sale this week for $19.99 each after instant rebate. Every week Best Buy has a different brand name 50 pack on sale...so this week is the excellent Sony ones. Make sure to check for the Made In Japan label and get the 1x-8x ones.

Not sure if they do the same in Canada, but here in Seattle they are doing it, and I imagine, at every Best Buy and CompUSA in the USA. Sorry, didn't see the other thread, I scrolled through to see if anyone had posted and hadn't seen any, so wasn't sure if anyone knew of these deals.

In canada Southern ontario this week Wal-mart has Sony-R 50's spool $17.99.

Wabman, if it's the sony 1x-8x speed then that should be a great deal with the exchange rate.Very good media for either format.

It's the 4x and 1x-4x speeds you may want to be weary of.
