Help~! DVD Drive wont spin

I tried to chip my v9 ps2, and i soldered the wires on the wrong points of the Ripper IV (THanks for the many empty solder points and lousy labels), and when i finally got it right, it wouldnt read any DVDs in Enabled mode. It would only read originals in Disabled mode. So i kept messing with the connections, till the DVD Drive wont spin!

I took the whole chip and wires out, and it still wont spin. I tried messing with the 2 cables that link the board to the dvd drive, and i think they're not faulty. Any help on this?

Are you sure didn't unplug on of the connectors that connect the DVD-ROM drive to the mother board?

what do you mean? If you're asking whether i connected all the cables back, yes i did.
