i made a dvd+r of vice city, and it doesnt have any rings around it, but still works perfect. then i made a dvd+r of nfs underground, then tony hawks pro skater 3, and they both have big rings on them. what does this mean? are they just a smaller size? also, when i tested nfs underground, after a while the level would turn weird and the street would be invisible. i use dvd+rs and i use swap magic dvd 2.0

yes the ring is where the end of the data is on it.if the game is a large file then you wont see a ring.

@ meetball : try using dvdr-r, see if that makes a difference. some older ps2's have trouble reading DVD+R or won't read them at all.
