Hi Guys,
I have been backing up my movies using DVD Shrink and deycrypter for some time now with great sucess. Now I am trying to learn how to back up my ps2 disc's. After reading various forums I am at a loss as to what my problem is. Here is what I have and what I have done.
I have a version 7 scph-39001, I use Swap magic 3.6 with a flip top. I thought I might of had the screws to tight so I checked that option. I have been using the dvd+R dvd's no particular brand as my playstation plays any brand of dvd+R movies without a problem. I have backed up Madagascar and Charlie & the Chocolate Factory however I can put the disc in and sometimes it will boot up without a problem other times it says I have a invalid PS2 disc. I have tried burning these games using Decrypter burning at 4X and Nero as well. I believe I have a valid disc the ps is just deciding when and if it wants to read it. Any ideas on what I shoud do???? At a lose on this.

playing movies is one thing,but booting ps2 games is another

you should always use top-notch media for games,movies are less fussy

Any suggestions on what I should buy? I see through the forums that
Ritek G04 Grade A is one of the best. Any other suggestions?

if you can afford them VERBATIMS, are the best,but here in the u.k they are very expensive
i use anything with the ritel go4/go5 dye in(go4 is better for ps2)

Thanks to the both of you. I couldnt find the dvd's that were posted but I did buy Sony's and slowed my burn speed down to the slowest possible and backed up my Robot's game on Decrypter. I worked like a charm!
