i use dvddecrypter and i`m burning at 4X (cause 2X is causing loading problems) and i use swap magic 3.6 plus pal.. and i have a pal ps2.. when i take backups of ntsc games i must manual shift to pal in the configuration on swap magic. cause if not the screen is black and white.. but when i use pal and the colors appears half of the screen is black. it`s like the the screen is pushed up... and when i use normal or ntsc configuration then the screen is perfekt but it`s black and white.. so somebody that can help me?

Don't know what you problem is. I have a Swap Magic 3.6 PAL version and it plays NTSC games without a problem.

hey, i need some help if poss please,

Im new to backing up ps2 games. I have God of War, a Mac, Liteon DVD burner and swap magic 3.6 with slide card.

I have the ISO image of God of War on my desktop, so i mounted (created disc image) and then using Toast burnt the DVD.

Then when that was done i set up the PS2, loaded up Swap Magic and a screen loads of that says "load Program" and "language" (i think) Is it this point in put in the backed-up copy and then hit X to boot? cos i get the message saying that this is "not a valid PS2 disc"

Any idea what im doing wrong?!

Also I have a copy of Lego Star Wars but it is a bin file, i did the same method as above but again this did not work!?

Help!!

You have probably got a t.v which doesn't accept 60HZ, the NTSC frequency. PAL t.vs older than 5 years old, or most 14 inch screen PAL TVs won't accept any American game or region 1 dvd that you put on them, and it will play in black and white, and could damage your t.v. You'll probably have to convert the whole game to PAL. I don't personally know how to do this but i'm sure there are loads of people on the forum who could help you out with that.

i have searched the internett for how to get this fixed. and i found that there are some ways to force the ps2 to send out PAL signals.. can somebody explane me how..?

your going to havee to patch the iso to NTSC because even if your ps2 could chnge 'pal signals' your t.v would still not be able to accept it
