I am trying to backup Madden 06.I made a copy of it but it plays choppy. The sound cuts in and out and it freezes for aboput 20 seconds after every play.I am using Verbatim DVD+Rs.I think I am reading it to fast.I went into the settings on Decrypter and set it to read at 4X but it goes all the way to like 10X and 11X.How do I slow it down?

To be honest i don?t think it matters what speed you read at, it?s only really affected if the disc is scratched or in bad condition, it's all about the burning speed and the Ps2. The fact you say its freezes indicates to me it's a burning problem, what speed did you burn it at?

It reads it at like 10X.It reads the game in like 5 minutes.I heard if you read it to fast it doesn't play right and if you read it to slow it doesn't play right.I was told to read it at 4X.I set Decryptor to read at 4X but it reads faster than that.I burn it at 2.4X.That's the slowest I can burn it at.

I read my games at full speed using my Pioneer DVD 109 and burn at 4x (or 8x sometimes if I forget to change the burn speed) and haven't made any coasters yet.

I always have read and burned them fast to with hardly any problems until Madden 06.

Hey, is there anyone else that uses Ritek G05 -r A-grade dvds, cause i just bought 50 of them, and DVD Decrypter will only let me burn at nothing more than frickin 1x! >:( that absolutley sux. Why is it only allowing 1x when it says they say what the DVD can burn at, i had the other Ritek 'G04' with them i could burn @ max 2x. Plz help!

Thx

You can go to open Decrypter and in tools / settings/ hit (device) and in the right side bottom ( options) change settings on speed. see if that helps.
