Yep Wal-mart is helping pay some poor sap in latin America $.02hr to make those worthless discs

Can you really call them worthless just because they were made in Latin America?

As long as they are being produced on Maxell machines to maxell specs the discs can be made almost anywhere. They should end up being the same as if they were stamped in Japan. (assuming they use the same stampers used in Japan)

Know what I mean verne?

As far as I know and from what I've read certain Media CODES come from certain countries that's why you'll see alot of people saying look for made in Japan because TY discs are made in Japan... and alot of the Crap is made in India and Taiwan ...

It would be interesting to see what Media code the Made in Latin America discs have
