well, i was thinking of a way to open the drive without the ps2 knowing it, an di think i got somewhere. what i did was i took a straw, and flatened the end up with my teeth. now if u open the disk drive, examine what happens when u press eject. this things start moving. what i did, was put flat end of the straw over that little hole where the thing moves when u press eject, and then i closed the drive (with a original game inside). it read the disk and everything went fine. now when i pull on the straw, the drive opens. It didn't work all the time, but what ever. the thing is i havent burned any games yet, so i would love it if somebody could experiment for me with the swap magic dvd and the straw on a burned game pleeasssee!!!!!!

There are actually two lid sensors in the v12 pstwo. You will not be able bypass these sensors with just a straw (disassembly also required). There are a few kits available that defeat these sensors, the most popular of which you can get at:
