When I start up the game, this action-arcade space shooter appears and when I press 'start' to skip through this game, there is a message that says 'Accessing Memory Card'. After that it just turns black and stays there forever.

I then tried playing through this arcade-action minigame and when I did, there was this blue spiral at the end and then the game freezes in this blue spiral.

Can anyone recommend to me how to fix these problems. Is it possible to remove the Tekken 5 file that contains the mini-game by extracting the files using a program like Apache 2?

P.S- I burned the game using Nero Express 6 and a TDK disk. I've got a DMS3 Modchip and I've burned the PAL version.

Thanks in advance.

i backed it up just fine using DVD Decrypter to read and write it. it probably your disk. make sure u have no programs running in back ground try it again and if not u need to try different disk i have mine on maxell and it plays perfect. good luck

BTW i have noticed when a game freezes up like my gta4 if you turn ps2 on side it plays fine. i guess it has to do with the laser not being pulled down so much by gravity which would cause it to be closer to the game to read it better. anyways good luck

Not sure either. I did mine with DVD Decrypter
onto Philips 8X DVD-R and mine also plays fine,
i have a DMS4 chip in mine.
TDK is uaully a good media to use. here are a few things
you can try.

1. make sure all things running in backround are shut down
things like antivirus software and others.
2. try burning the game with DVD Decrypter at 4X
3. if you burned it to a +R disc, then try some -R
4. try updating your burners firmware, see if you have the latest
version available installed by searching the net.

also i have noticed that when i burn EA games if i write them to slow they never get passed that first screen like your tekken 5 so try a higher speed. also defrag your computer some games it takes like 3 disk to get it right. anyways good luck
