Hello,
when i used dvd shrink,i see compression which is automatic and alwalys around 100 %,now i am unclear what level compression is good. when i try to do 50%,movie takes 1-2hrs time to encoding so my question is :
compression of 100 and automatics is good or bad.
should I change compression when i see close to 100 compression.

hello,
The compression bar works as follows....
70%= file will be 70% of it's original size or it is compressing it 30%.
100%= no compression at all since the file will be 100% of it's original size
The additional time is due to the deep analysis feature of Shrink. Deep analysis is basically a second pass that helps to maintain quality under compression. Some people won't use deep analysis until their compression hits a certain percentage like maybe 85-90% or so. That's something that you have to decide personally for your viewing pleasure.

How about if i want to compress 2 dvd film in 1 dvd disk, what percent do i need to specify?
