no, just back up the game using DVD Decrypter..mine works fine..i just played today with no problems.

A little something you vackup specialist should try.
CloneCD by Slysoft the AnyDVD people.
Clone burns faster than DvDdecrypter and is not as picky on media grade.Does not create ISOs rather just a image. Works great with the new DVD support. Dont get me wrong DvDdecrypter is great and I use it. But maybe its time for new ideas. just thought I mention and you can give it try.

I'm hearing people with HD Loader or HD advance are having problems after a certain point in the game. Like the third level.

hey i got darkwatch running with hdloader fully patched version and it freezes in the loading screen of multiplayer cooperative mode.
has anyone had this problem?

i tried a 1:1 backup and it won't load with sm 3.6
the size is like 4,5 GB.....the disc skips and says not a valid ps2 disc,i burned it at 2,4

don't have CloneCD
But i do have CloneDVD and AnyDVD
wonder if they will work for games?
I have never tried it but i know they work great with
movies.

dont burn any more copyes, i used to have swap magic thingy and it was a piece of shit, most things dont work and i tryed burning at different speeds and still doesn;t work, so just get an HD,
but thats not the case cuz all we need is a DARKWATCh patch,
some one work on it!

forget about this game, its cool but it has a succky story,(u can clearly see it on the first intruduction movie) Get something like Ratchet Deadlock, jak x, or prince of persia, sly 3 band of thieves, or dance adnce revoulution extreme2 or shaolin monks (REALLY COOL@#$#)

Sorry guys...
I have downloaded the game, burned it on a dvd(cheap one) and it works fine.
Now i want to play it useing HDA or HDL (doesn't matter)
But during the game it hangs while loading a scene after the scene you drink water (puking) and are talking to the nymph. when the next loading screen appears it stops responding at 50%...
Anyone experienceing the same?

nope, i only have it in hd, and it freezes in coop, and it freezes in sigle player chapter 3-4 i dont remember.
while loading the game it freezes in half the loading bar.

1. a few corrections. Swap Magic is not jusnk it works fine.
I used both 2.0 and 3.0 with great success.
2. Darkwatch worked just fine for me. If you want to try to
rebuild it it may work better. And use good quality media
8X DVD-R burned at 4X with DVD Decrypter
Philips,TDK,Ritek,Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim
3. Darkwatch is a good game if you like shooters, it is very
much like Red Dead Revolver. and by the way i don't take
game reviews from people who play Dance Dance Revolution!

1)True Swap magic isn't junk, it just that most of the games doesn't work well, see almost all the games run slow, crashes or doesn't even run.
2)anyways a hardisk is way better,
3)Maybe media and burn speed makes a diffrence but its minor , really minor.
4) Dark watch is a good game , maybe coop is fun , but it has a crapy story,.
5) ddr doesn't suck, and i'm not a newbie gamer!!! i know what games are cool!! (god of war!!!!)
yea soo... i think we should keep on with the "Find a coop patch for darwatch " mission. has anyone found one yet? i wana play Coop!!

wrong...wrong...wrong i used it for years and my games don't crash
at all. and only about 5% of them ever had to be rebuilt

again. Wrong Wromg Wrong, that is WHY all your games crash and
other people have no problems with Swap Magic

No different from the story of any other game. Some are better than
others but i put more on the gameplay, which in Darkwatch
is a lot of fun for a FPS

And that one was really just a joke, But if you are a newbie
gamer or not (which i never even mentioned) DDR sounds about as fun to me as video kereoki or counting sand.
God Of War was good though. If you like those rythem type games
you'll love Indigo Prophacy (aka Fahrenheit)

2) i Burned and WASTED alot of F*ing Dvds trying to make games work, (tried in different speeds , and different dvds)
3) i had a headake swaping like 10000000 times just to make a game work
4) Too much swaping or swaping wrong may damege ur ps2,"U CANT SAY NO, its true!"
5) The story, is fine, its fun, but they could have been better.
6)Indigo Prophasy....i'll think about it
7) true in one side, People are different and like different games, but ddr is a hit , not like counting sand (very hard ...though..)
!!!) Dont Forget the mission objective!! "Find a coop patch for darwatch ". has anyone found one yet? i wana play Coop!!
