If its already a copy of a copy u do not need to have it ripped just burn it straight, but keep in mind the blank DVD has to b able to fit the movie on it.

If the source disc is 4.7gigs the blank has to b 4.7gigs

same goes if its dual layer but no it is not protected.

I hope that helped....

When u put the disc in the DVD drive and then go to My Computer and just click once on the DVD drive e.g. D:\ it will jave a pic of a pie graph on the left hand side wit the gigs written.

I hope that helps ussually if they are not copy protected they are already single layerd.

Just ude decrypter as a burner. Create ISO image and then write the image to the blank media. Or if you have any other prog (such as Intervideo Dvd Copy 3, Clone Dvd 2, or XCopy) just place the source disk in the drive and press copy. If you have two burners (Intervideo burns on the fly...I really like this feature!) Download a trial of all these progs from www.intervideo.com for Intervideo copy 3, or www.slysoft.com where you can find CloneDVD 2. Beyond Rebuilder Pro/CCE I have found that these produce an exceptionally nice picture that is near perfection as possible. Try a variety and use what works with your set-up and system...remember use high quality media (TY's, Verbs, Maxell and Sony's) and burn at 4x or slower. Hope this helps!

Alot of music DVDs have no copy protection at all. You can tell as soon as you open DVD Decrypter and it says "No" to region and CSS protection. At this point, you can just copy the entire VIDEO_TS folder from the DVD to your hard drive and burn it.
