Hi all, I was just wondering if NTSC USA PS2 DVD backups are compatible with Swap Magic 3.6. I was thinking of buying a NTSC backup off a site and want to make sure before buying.

Do most work or not?

For e.g. does Tekken 5 NTSC USA DVD backup work with Swap Magic 3.6+

Help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Most of the time any PAL or NTSC game will work with swap magic BUT you need a TV that can handle NTSC or PAL or it will end up being black & white but there?s convectors you can download to fix that.

Hi Patt, I have a RGB cable which sorts that problem out as I play X-Men - Wolverine's Revenge (USA) which comes out colour. The person who installed my Swap Magic Flip Top recommended this to me as he was giving away a game with Swap Magic and the game I chose was an American game. (Will I still needed to converters though eventhough I have a RGB?) Concerning PAL backups - I am not very confident in backing these games up as every time I borrow one to copy it does not work (i.e. MOH Euro Assault, Tony Hawk's U2, etc). So, I was really just wondering if NTSC backups have a better compatibility with the Swap Magic 3.6+ discs so I can save money instead of creating coasters with good media. More help needed please.
