Hi all,
Newbie here, I have been using DVDShrink for a while now, and only recently the following error message started popping up :~

Dvd Shrink has encountered an error and cannot continue.
Failed to initialize Aspi device.

System config :~

P4 3Ghz
80 Gb hard drive
512 memory

Hopefully somebody out there can help me.

Your pc can't see your dvd drive. In "My Computer" on your desktop or Start Menu, find your drive and go to properties to be sure the drive is operating properly. It will tell you so. Do a re-start. and try Shrink again. Post results.

Still getting the same message :~

DVD Shrink has encountered an error and cannot continue.
Failed to initialize Aspi device.

Also, in the past I have had to reinstall Shrink every few days (so, if anyone can help me out with that little problem as well it would be gratefully appreciated).
