So do you have cd/dvd loader that works on your ps2? Do you have a mod chip or swap discs? And do you have breaker pro?

I've got CDLoader, Swap Disc, and a fliptop. No Breaker Pro right now.
If the memcard exploit/LaunchELF will play DVDRips, I'm just gonna say screw it and use that...
Also, this is a stupid question, but Gameshark Lite is for PS1 correct? And will work to play PS1 backups on PS2? I'm having problems finding a Gameshark v2, but Gameshark Lite are available...

Yes, but for some reason they won't play backups, regular games will load though.

Do you:
Put in swap magic
Wait till it tells you to swap discs
Put in the slide tool push to left and pull out the tray
swap discs,
put in slide tool left then push to right, when tray comes out a bit release pressure and go over a little bump and press X ?
Are you getting an error message?

Well, I use a fliptop, but substitute that for those instructions, and yes.
I put it in on the menu screen with the video mode/start game/X/Square options and all that crap, like it says on the swap magic site.
I would adjust my laser, but I have no multimeter. I wish it were like the little white thingy in the tray where I could just mark it or remember where it was and put it back.

Ok, umm i got that with one of my backups. Dont know if it is this but what version ps2 do you have and what media are you using?

I fixed it. It was Swap Magic being a slut, so now I use the mem-card exploit/LaunchELF.
Will Gameshark v2.01 work for playing PS1 backups and PS2 DVD-rips?
Will LaunchELF load DVD-Rips?

Cool, glad you worked that out :) And gameshark im not sure about that. I will try find out about gameshark :)
Also cogswap loader can boot cd/dvd backups.
