Ok, I read many different topics about xbox live, and everyone says something different. Has anyone ever used xbox live with a chip.

Please inform me. I don't to get band, but I want to play 2K5 against other people besides my four yrs old son!

It is possible yet it cant be done. Let me explain.

The only way you can play XBL with a chipped xbox is to disable your chip (if it has that feature). Also, your HDD must be locked as well as you need to use an original disk, not a backed-up copy.

If you try to play on XBL with your chip ENABLED then it will be instant banning.

kai/xlink or xbconnect is the way to go for a modded box. That is what I use. The only thing is that the game you want to play online MUST support the system link option, not just xbox live. I think Kai/Xlink is the better of the two, but they both do the job.

I know i have kai in my xbox, but where is it???
When playing live with kai can you play games that's in the hardrive?

I find it easier to use kia from your pc there is a lot less problems that way and a little quicker. try it that way

What is Kai? I got xbconnect, but you can not play any sports games from your HD.
