Hi, I have 2 Computers, one of them is working fine. Both I have DVDXCOPY Platinum, DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter and Nero. My older computer which is a Pentium 3, 512mb ram, 130GB Hard Drive (that I have a problem too, because the Hard Drive size is 200GB and just show 130GB), running windows XP Professional... i cannot make a copy, everytime I use DVDXCOPY Platinum about 10 minutes when is already burning the DVD media ejects and a error messege appears saying Platinum - Error Writing DVD! Please check the log file. Samething happens to the DVD Shrink I do the whole process and start to burn but no long the DVD media is eject. I tried to burn the files direct with Nero... Samething but this time I as able to see that is a buffer level and go up and down 97% and go down to 7% sometimes 5% most the times when an error occur is when is down.
I search for Buffer level and i find out that can be something with DMA. Oh boy.. the i searched for DMA and i couldn't find it on my system. I went >>>> Right click on my computer > Properties > That bring me up to System Properties > Hardware > Device Manager > IDE ATA/ATAPI controler > Primery and Secondary channels <<<< On Primery IDE Channel Properties I only have General | Driver | Details | REsources. and i couldn't find any DMA.
So that brought me no where. but when i disable Norton, and i disable internet connections on Network connecions. i could copy one or two. just dont know if the whole DVD doesn't have any bugs because i didn't whatch yet.
The DVD media ii'm using is a 16x 4.7GB DVD-R from memorex. My DVD Burner is from memorex also and is 16x double layer.
If there is any help please...
Thank you a lot.
