Seemed to have solved the problem. Downgraded the firmware from 1.07 to 1.06 and 10 burns so far perfect (hopefully) ....at least according to dvdinfopro. Funny my other TDK 840G (bay 2) will not function unless it's got firmware 1.07...go figure.
Hey, just wanted to let you guys know that these discs I was talking about when I started this thread, well.....they may just be the real thing after all. The last 6 discs that I have copied have done perfect. The thing I believe was causing the issues with these discs were the fact that my "spyware" was out-of-date. I had updated my spyware program and scanned the system and found quiet a few issues there....ever since then, they have done perfect, not 1 coaster. But still, I have learned a valuable leason here...."Don't buy media from anyone on Ebay, it's just too risky"! Many thanks to everyone for your input on this issue! Have a great day!

check out newer sony DVD+R disc. They are taiyo yuden's. Bought at comp usa for $20 for a 50 pack. No shipping, and when you live in hawaii thats unbelivable. Its the first thing sony did right. The bad part is you have to buy them to chack them but it's worth it. Keep up the good work afterdawnians. Afterdawn and Cd freaks forever.
Oh yeah I almost forgot E bay sucks. You gotta be crazy and asking to be reamed to buy shit from ebay. Honestly whats the ratio of good expeirances and rip offs from ebay. If i only didn't live atlest 2500 miles from people i bought stuff from on ebay.
