When i try to load a .avi i get this error:

Couldn't locate decompressor fro format "XVID' (unknown)

Virtualdub requires a Video for Windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompress video. DirectShow codecs such as those used by windows media player, are not sutable.

Pls help...

The error means exactly what it says.......

It is Telling you to install the XviD codec but I personally prefer useing the "FFDShow Decoder" which will decode most all formats so you don"t have to install a Bunch of Codecs.....
