To burn DVD without wide screen

Hi

Is there a way to burn a movie without widescreen so that when I watch it on my TV, I get a full screen.

Unless they came out with special software for this lately that I am not familiar with,but it all depends on the original copy. You've got full screen versions or wide screen versions on the majority of new original discs.
Sometimes you'll have a choice when the original movie is placed on flipper discs like Because of Winn Dixie.It has wide screen on one side and full screen on the other.You pick the side you want to burn.

You may also have a choice if you have 2 main movie titles and pick out the title with full screen.

I hate the wide screen movies and buy the Full screen only, if possible.

Thanks Saugmon for your reply. I didn't know that we had the choice sometimes between WideScreen and Full. I'll check that in the future.

No problem. It usually tells you at the top of the dvd case cover.

Nothing irks me more than watching black bars on top and bottom of the screen. Some of my movies have so wide of bars, that half my 32" screen is black!
