1. Do the Modchips for the GC let you play homebrew games and apps?

2. Does it let you play Backups?

3. Does it let you play ALL backups?

4. Do you need to swap?

5. Can you customize the menus?

6. Can you flash the chips?

7. How do you backup GC games?

8. Do you use DVD-/+R for backups? or Mini-DVDRs?

9. Will it let you play imported games?

9. Can you play DVDs (Movies)?

10. Can you listen to MP3s or Audio CDs?

These answers are based on Qoob Pro to be precise. I have know accurate answers for Viper or Qoob SX so don't take these answers for those chips.

3. I believe so. Some games are glitchy with the current BIOS (1.3c), though games that are glitchy today maybe perfect tomorrow.
4. No, (If you mean swap like ps2 magic swip disk).
5. You can configure the chip and the GC, plus add cheats, and applications.
6. Yes
7. There are many good guides on net, modthatcube has a few good ones. I'm not sure as I download my iso's. Don't ask from where they're actually easy to find. Basic needs, BBA and the right ripper.
8. All work fine, I prefer the Sony DVD+R, cheap and reliable.
9. Yes.
9. Agian? Did you make a mistake? Is it suppose to be 10? Well anyways No you can't play DVD's, never could, never can. GC wasn't ever meant to play DVD's.

For question 1 I'm not entirely sure, but I think you can. I know you can burn and play nintendo DS on it. Well so I've read. But I might be wrong.
