I have the same problem,if I delete DVD43 my cd rom and dvd rom work great. If I install it all hell breaks out I do not have an aspi layer and possibily this might be the culprit. I simply can't figure this out!
1 Click is one of many progs I have, I really do not use it, my favorites (Rebuilder Pro/CCE; Intervideo Copy 3 Plat. and CloneDVD 2) yet I never used DVD43, it always caused problems. I purchased AnyDVD and never had another issue. Works great with all the progs. I have (Including 1 Click 4.2) I also have Dvd Xplatinum, Dvd Cloner 2, Dvd 2 One, and they all work flawlessly with AnyDVD. Download the trial from Slysoft.com and see how it intergrates into your system. Hope this helps!

@concho, sorry about the reply...what I meant was that I did use it, but like you it was causing all kinds of problems, so after uninstalling it...Ifound AD and the world of AnyDVD. Since then I have not had any problems. If there is any movie that AnyDVD could not crack then I use DVD Decrypter, SmartRipper, or DvdFab Decrypter to the HD and then use shrink, Intervideo, CloneDVD 2, 1 click or any other app that works well with you. Find what works, and works well with you and stick with it, then as you learn more...try more.
