I am a total noob, anyone with a Spiderchip and plays XBOX live
Any help would be really appreciated........I am attempting to use XBOX Live with a Spiderchip installed, but I am unable to load the original dashboard with the chip turned OFF....I keep getting an 05 error........IS there something wrong, I should be able to load the original XBOX
Yes, the problem is that your hard drive is unlocked. You will need to lock it again. I'm not sure if you can do that in your hacked dasbhoard, but I know you can do it w/ Slayers or XboxHDM.
I'm gonna have you get slayers, because I know for a fact that you can lock your HD w/ that. Your Xbox will need to be able to read backup discs. If you have an Xecuter 3 modchip, then you can lock it right in the config live (you can get there by holding the white button down on startup).
Or just go to any bit torrent site, such as http://www.torrenspy.com and download slayers from there.
Now, burn the ISO you get of Slayers onto a quality DVD-R or quality cd-rw (preferablly dvd-r) and pop it in your Xbox and boot it up. You will see an option right on the main screen to lock your HD.
