I am trying to use Decryper and/or Shrink to make a copy of a slightly scratched DVD. I do not get a cyclic error. It plays but freezes and pixilates at times in one section. I want to burn it but bypass those bad sections. I tried Decrypt and set it to ignore errors, but it essentially stops. It keep showing read errors and time remaining is "unknown". Anyone know of a way to just skip over a bad part of a DVD when copying it?

If there were bad sectors embedded in the files purposely, that would be one thing, but this is a scratched disc. You either need to use something CD/DVD Inspector or Xrescue to retrieve the info from the disc or buy a machine like SkipDr to repair the disc. Hope this helps!
