Epson R200 with Ritek DVDs

Hi, I just wanted to know if anyone else out there has had any problems with the Epson R200 and Ritek injet printables?

I am finding a whole lot more smudging and the letters do not seem as defined and fine as when I print a letter

Could it be because I am using generic ink?

Been using the same discs with the compatible ink for a few months now, never had any quality issues. Discs still coming of top notch and that is without changing any particular printer quality settings
