Actually, that's the first time i did "go all defensive" tonight.
The remark i made in your prison break thread didn't have a smiley face next to it for nothing, you know...

Mobb Deep - Shook Ones
Probably one of the best hip-hop songs ever, I used to listen to the Mobb a lot, their "Blood Money" album was painfully bad with the exception of one to two tracks, thanks to them signing with G-unit Records..*sigh*
Another group of legends killed.. :X

Rav could u pm me a list of some traks that are "real hiphop" please mate?
I like it, but some of the crap my mates listen to is poor, thats what makes everyone just dismiss it and put their nose up at it.
I do like fi'ddy though, i know people hate him, but his life story intrigues me and his words have meaning.
Thanks ireland!![afterdawn legend]

Hey Billy,
Nah, its all to do with your musical tastes, you'll have to experiment yourself an see what you like. If you listen to 50 Cent its highly unlikely you will like true hip hop, I liked him when he was new, now hes sh*t, his words don't have meaning m8 ~LoL~, he rob's half his lyrics (he famously nicked some from Dead Prez)
If you wanna listen to people who's words have meaning, check out the oldies. 50 Cent is complete and utter trash, boring rhymes about money, guns and women; doesnt put any heart into it, grrrrr....:X

Dio - Rainbow in the Dark
If anyone here is even remotely interested in classic metal I highly recommend that track. It's my favorite song ever... that and some others that remain in an exclusive group of about 15 tracks.

aabbccdd,
Wow, I'm jealous of all the people here who own all those great old albums.
I have Nantucket Sleighride by Mountain on Vinyl,
Argus by Wishbone Ash on Vinyl,
the Wishbone Ash original release,
and I have Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd.
I have other old LPs but only some are any good(can't remember the other good ones). The others all have obscure Motown recordings... and the Chipmunks Christmas...
I was lucky enough to get all these from my dad and uncle who collected together growing up. I might sell them someday for some BIG money. I have about 150 albums.
My current track:
Thunder Kiss '65 - White Zombie
