i'm trying to boot back-up dvd games with my gameshark 2 ver.2. i've followed the tutorial step by step for booting and burning. but when the game tries to load i get(please insert playstation or ps2 disk) i've tried ssx3 and th4 burned mds files. memorex dvd+r burned at 4x,my ps2 version is 7 39001. is there anyone here that could give me any tips on this,or use the same boot method? any help would be appreciated.

i say just buy Swap Magic. That way you will
have the correct boot discs
Also try better media, Memorex are really bad for games
You may also want to try -R instead of +R
my V7 has no problems with -R
Verbatim, TDK, Philips, Ritek G04 are your best choices

It could just be the bad media and not your method.
I couldn't get Memorex to work at all
