My playstation 2 slim model # is SCPH-70012 and i want to buy i chip to put into my console so it can run burn ps2 games, what kind of chip should i buy ? And whre can i buy cheap one?

Personally I would go for the Matrix Infinity mod chip. The DMS4 Pro mod chip is another great chip but it tends to cause the slim line V12s to over heat a little. www.mod-chip.com sells chips at a reasonable price and their delivery is pretty speedy too.

There's not much of a difference between the two chips - the DMS4 is slightly better if you are into developing. Developing aside, they do the same thing. Though if you have a slim line PS2 (V12/V13) then I would suggest the Matrix Infinity cause it's been reported that the DMS4 Pro causes over heating problems in the slim line PS2s.

Yes
DMS4 Pro, DMS4 Lite, DMS4 EZI (if you can't solder)
or the Matrix Infinity
those are the top of the food chain right now.
You can spend less on other chips, but in the end
you will be sorry when you find out that there are
no flash upgrades for them and they can not be
updated like the one's listed above.
