Is it a good idea to buy a mod chip MODBO v1.1 ?

I foud this mod chip MODBO v1.1 for $35 and I dont know if it is a good idea to buy it or not.

I wouldn't waste my money on that cr*p - try the Matrix Infinity or DMS4 Pro which are reputable chips and only cost a little more.

agree with above. Spend the extra money
or in the long run you will be sorry.
You can upgrade (flash) the chips listed by Yoti
but i doubt you can upgrade the Modbo.

@Douglas: The Modbo is a copy (often called a 'clone') of the Matrix Infinity chip. However, its not a perfect copy, so there are some problems. The main one is that if you ever go into the settings menu and save changes, you will kill the chip. Also you can't upgrade the firmware either. This thread has more details:

If cost is a concern then the modbo might be a good deal, assuming you can find it for $15-$20. Otherwise the original Matrix Infinity chip can be had for around $45-$50.
