How do you clean a PS2 lens? I have mine since 4 years and never cleaned the lens....I think it could help....

a cleaner kit might work.but say for instance you had dropped your ps2 while it was playing a game.what might happen is your ps2 game would rub up against the ps2 lens leaving a plastic scuff mark on your ps2 lens.cleaner disc wont get that off.thats why cleaning it with a cotton swab and rubbing alcohol is the best way to clean your lens.if youre not experiencing major difficulty reading ps2 games or any other media then a cleaner disc would probably do just fine.if you never cleaned your lens and its really old you might consider cleaning it with rubbing alcohol to ensure a thourough initial cleaning and use a cleaner disc for routine cleaning afterwards(you dont want to keep taking your ps2 apart just to clean the lens,obviously).
