Memorex are pretty bad.
Go for some TDK, Philips, Verbatim, Ritek G04
they may cost a bit more but are better quality
and you will have better luck backing up games
on them.

i dont know about that.ive had dvdrs made with the same mftr but different name brands.and there was a noticeable difference in the two.they were cmc disc.one was philips and the other was hp.the hp worked pretty good as opposed to the philips that constantly created echos on the audio during gameplay(people repeating what they say).

basically there is so much confusion on which discs are good and how to tell.there is alot of misleading "facts" out there that its hard to beleive what is true or false.the only sure way is by personal use.i make it a habit to try new media when i run out of the media i have.its like asking what toothpaste works the best?you wont get an honest or consistent answer.i usually try to get disc while theyre on sale like the fuji is on sale at staples.havent tried them yet but heard theyre pretty good for most people(havent heard anything bad about them).the discs i like are sony, tdk,hp,and verbs and can usually find one of them on sale somewhere.

and by the way, most of the dvdr media brands should work with your burner.meaning you shouldnt have to search for the holy grail of media that seems to be the only media that works with your burner.at that point there is nothing wrong with the media the issue is your burner.
