this is probably not related to shirnk, but i was wondering if this has ever happend to anybody... while burning a dvd or doing somehting else, your screen turns all white and looks like a sheet of lined paper and freezes(forcing you to restart. this may be a virus i have or somehitng, but if anyone has any info i would appreciate it.

I've never encountered that problem nor have I heard of it, but I'm curious to find out what the problem is your having and it's resolution. I'll be watching.

Probably lack of RAM. 256 BARE minimum to do any type of dvd backing up with 512+ recommended.

To remove the Surveillance software that comes with limewire,
From windows->Press Start->Run->Type REGEDIT->Press my computer on the top to highlight it, aand press CTRL+F-> Type "Magnet" (no quotes) and then press find next. When it finds it, right click on the floder and press delete->Then go back up to My Computer and press CTRL+F again and press Find next once again.
This should destroy the surveillance software but note that it comes back every time you open limewire again.

gules3000,
Suggest you do a full re-format of the HD,re-install OS and then re-install all programs and forget limewire. You are still having that problem and it is quicker to do the above. Remember to backup all important files to either an external HD or to cd-rw

Well...you have to close limewire and block it from accessing the internet before you can delete the "magnet" surveillance software.
