I just bought a slim ps2 and it works my psx games perfectly. The problem is that it doenst save(or rather it saves, but if u try to load, nothing is there) I have a scph-70012 model. I thinking sony forgot to put a save feature for psx games for the slim ps2. (wow they screwed up). Then again on the other end i am using a 2x memory card in which u hit the button to go to other side of memory card. I thimnkl i need a original memory card in order to get it to work. Also my 2x memmory card got corrupted. I just wonder if anyone else has this same problem? I think if I get a original memory card it be alright.

make sure you use a ps1 memory card and not a ps2 memory card to save ps1 games.

hmmm .... I've never heard of that problem yet... I played resident evil 3 on my slim and saved/loaded all of the time.. but take sui-cyco's advice and check you memory card...if that's not the prob call sony's support line (as long as your warranty sticker is in tact)......
