Hey, i am very new to DVD shrink, and yesterday i copied about 7 movies, they were all from china except a few. I encountered a problem when i tried to copy 'the sum of all fears' what happened was about halfway through a full disc backup, an error message popped up and said 'DVD Shrink has encountered an error and cannot continue.'

Does anybody know how to solve this so i could copy my
friend's DVD from China?
P.S. The DVD is not encrypted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Encoding a DVD is pretty labor intensive on your cpu. If you backed up 7 in row your system could be overheated and this could cause the error you received. Shrink also usually gives another line or 2 after this message. What else did it say?
Have you tried again today after giving your pc a rest?

okay since the disc isn't copy protected you can try doing just a copy to copy with you copying software like Nero. Clean the disc off. If that doesn't work try ripping with decrypter. Your problem may be the disc itself. What else does the error message say?

you can try using Alcohol 120% just save it as an image with alcohol then use it to burn it
