is it possible to play online with a modded PS2 and using a burned game?

If by modded you mean modchip then yeah it is doable, you need to turn the modchip off and get the dnas code for the burnt game.

but i meant using a burned copy of a game.. if i turn the modchip off, i cant play that burned game.. right?
