Hey I was just thinking about getting and installing a Flip Top Cover on my v12 slim PSTwo and was just wondering what your guy's experiences are with this combo. I just wanna play backups and imports. I'd just like to know the reliability of this.

yes u can put a mod chip in a slim line ps2 . all mod chips dont work thoe. The ones wat i know of that work are\\\DMS 4 Pro
DMD 4 Lite
Matrix Infinity
Crystal Chip And u need one of these so your ps2's laser wont burn out\\\
NEOFIX ii PCB

And if u want to buy one go to www.mod-chip.com and on that site a NEOFIX ii PCB comes with the ones that work on the slim line

A flip top cover and some swap magic discs will work like a treat on your system. You will be able to play original games from any region and back ups too. Though if the (back up) game is bigger than 4.3g then you need to patch it so that it can play using this set up. If the game is a dual layer game (ie god of war, gt4) then you need to rebuild it

Hijacking threads is just plain rude not to mention you need to use the search function before posting since your question has been asked and answered many, many times over.

I cant say which method is better because I did/do not use these methods.
