Leezy, thanks for your reply, but is the media code MCC-004 for DVD-R (and not DVD+R)?

LOL...this is an easy one for me...
the MCC004 is ONLY for 16x DVD+R format of Verbatims, the media ID coding for the 16 DVD-R is MCC03RG20.
that should be ALL the clarification that you need CSimms :) enjoy~

Thanks for the replies. I've used the 16X DVD-R 25pack before which are coded MCC03RG20. I just wanted to be sure before I went out and bought the 100pack. Thanks again.

anytime, i have ONLY used the MCC004 16x DVD+R by Verbatim with VERY GOOD success, i know the media coding like the back of my hand, but as of yet, have not had ANY experience with the 16x DVD-R media just yet. :)
good luck with those...if you have used them in the past with good success, to safely purchase the 100 pack spindle should not be a problem :)

Hello , i have bought a couple of 25 packs of the verbatim 16x DVD-R's at Micro Center and they work just as good as the 16x DVD+R's that i bought there awhile back. Everyone of them work flawlessly A+ media plus and minus format for me . just my experience i have had with verbatim 16 x plus and minus format / p.s. all my standalone dvd players work great with both formats as well :) /unjust

Just to let everyone know... I just bought and opened a Verbatim 16X DVD-R 100 pack (UPC 0-23942-95102-5) and as indicated in the previous replies, the media code is MCC03RG20. I have used the Verbatim 16X DVD-R 25 pack (UPC 0-23942-95058-5), which are coded the same, with very good results. I'm just glad that these discs are available in packs of 100.
