I want to buy a DMS4 modchip, but I was curious about some of the features that the lite version includes. It says that it doesn;t have 2mb on-board for future flash upgrades, but the pro version does.

Does this mean that the lite version cant be upgraded in any way???
Also, is it really worth getting the pro instead of the lite, and differences that i should be aware of??

Lite has flash as well, just a smaller amount than Pro. The main advantage to geting the Pro is the larger flash lets you install ToxicOS firmware, which works well with hard drive loading. Both chips support ToxicBIOS firmware upgrading as well as the original DMS4 firmware.
