Hopefully you downloaded the tmd version which was 3 discs,if not make sure that the one you have works.
Next make sure you have divx 5.02 or better installed.(best option is to search and download **all codecs you can think of** by searching the word codecs.
next have virtualdub 1.4c or better and open the movie file. set video to direct stream copy and auido to full processing mode. then goto file **save as avi.
Now that you have your AVI open tmpgenc 2.58 full can be found on kazaa.
Now all you need to do is follow the wizard instructions and encode.
And there you have it a VCD ready movie file for your DVD player.
(Note ** Files Increase from roughly 150mb to 650mb max. Some can be as small as 400mb.
Mpeg-1 = VCD
Mpeg-2 = Svcd

I used this method on my 2 towers from kazaa and it worked fine.
GOOD LUCK

Ouch, diarno, you just made a big mistake posting that. You are supposed to buy TMPGEnc Plus (if thats what you meant by full!) from there website and not download it because it is piracy and against the rules of this forum to post piracy related issues. Anyway, For the movie files, I would recommend to NOT get the tmd version cause they suck, get the real releases and encode using DVD2SVCD with TMPGEnc or CCE SP and the quality will be excellent!

well if you wanna buy the software you go do that, but you try telling all 3.5 million users on kazaa that piracy is wrong.
I would honesly wanna download it and save me money which could go to more needful things such as charoties for the homeless or hungry.
so dont bother giving me a lecture mate.

"Hi, I just stole a DVD player and a BMW Roadster. How do I make the player region-free and get more power out of the BMW?"

Geez.. Read the AUP before posting, will ya? I'll let you both go with a warning, cause I'm in a fairly decent mood.

Oh, and by both I mean Diarno and TwangyGuy. You should both learn from Dela. =)

It doesn't matter what people's opinions are piracy or what they do with their Net connections, but even suggesting how to get pirated material is against this forums rules. End of period.

The quality is likely to be absolutely abhorrent, and totally ruin your enjoyment of the film :)

They say that 90% of the information in movies lies in the soundtrack. I have heard that such video sources suffer the most in this department. Therefore, viewing of such material, regardless of any early-bird induced excitement cannot be satisfying.
