Check out any of the guides here. They are intelligently written and easy to follow. Stick to the basics starting out and above all, use good media! Good luck and happy burning!

Here is a site with some great guides for numerous programs.

http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/guides.htm

If using Decrypter and your movie is below 4.3gb then rip in iso read and then write mode. When opening your file with Decrypter pick the mds file. If it is above and your rip in iso mode and need to Shrink you would still open the mds file, this contains all the structural information. For hard to rip disks containing ARccOS protection it is better to rip in file mode.
