Can u burn a dvd9 ps2 game onto 2 dvd5 discs

Hi. I was just wondering if its possible to burn a dvd9 (dual layer) game such as god of war onto two dvd5 (single layer) discs? (e.g. split the two layers on the dvd9 over two dvd5s?) I want to do this because I only have a single layer dvd burner and would prefer to have the complete game backed up and not have to miss videos and so on. any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Yes you can, Somehow you rebuild them,or take out the dummy files.
There are many threads on this topic,use the search button,

I never had time to learn how to do this so I just get the games that are dual layer off the net there are all ready converted (well most of them you have to look for the ones that say DVD5)

I think GT4 is the only game impossible to backup

You can't burn a PS2 Dual Layer disc onto 2 DVD 5's .. How are you going to boot disc 2?

most you can do is rebuild the game by taking out the Dummy files..
Dummy files aren't needed they have no use in the game at all they are just there to take up space so someone wouldn't try to copy the game..

God of War just needs to be rebuilt down to a DVD5 and the Dummy Files Removed
