@jslanders

Ok i can suggest u use either DVD Shrink to compress the file size and DVD Decrypter in burner format so u can burn straight to disc and also u can use CloneDVD 2 to burn the VOB files to disc...

Just click on the software tab...

For DVD you have VOB, IFO and BUP files. Rip a DVD with Decrypter in File mode and take a look at the Video_TS folder contents. Your files don't seem to be right to burn a DVD movie and have it play. You have to have the IFOs to control the VOBs. BUPs are just backup IFOs.

You say someone else authored it to play on CD. That is probably SVCD format. Possibly VCD or Divx. To use DVD Decrypter, or Shrink the files have to be in DVD format before trying. So, you need to convert to DVD from whatever you have. Ask whoever did it what format they put it in, if possible.
