I don't use many +RW's, but it happens. I'm cuurently using Imation discs which I have acquired @ $1.08/ea. I've ordered them in spindles of 25. Does anyone acquire the high quality discs at a better rate and if so, where should I pursue them?

I've used Ridata DVD+RWs with great success. They are coded RICOHJPNW11. They are at Newegg for $51/100-pack now. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817132382
I bought them for $30 after rebate back in February (they actually went down to $24 for a 100-pack with free shipping a week later). I thought the prices would be headed down because 8X DVD+RWs are out now, but they are actually heading up because manufacturers realized that people are buying them in bundles for standalone DVD recorders which can't even use the newer 8X DVD+RWs. You can also try Amazon, but they mostly stock Memorex crap which is made my Infodisc.

At Office Depot you can get 30 Maxell DVD+RW's for 20 bucks or 67 cents a piece.

By one 15 pack get one free!

I checked out our local Office Depot. All of their DVD (-R, +R, and all RW) were made in Taiwan. That included Maxell, Memorex, Verbatim and Office Depot (store brand).

The salesman even came over to help me look; and finally admitted everything there was from Taiwan.

Anybody had any good luck using made in Taiwan discs?

... The Verbatim discs are awesome ... As far as my experience goes, Office Depot discs are made by Ritek (good) and the Maxell MIT discs are RICOHJPN which are considered to be excellent ...

Someone lied to you at Office Depot.

I got Made in Japan Maxell DVD-R 4x and 8x media this week.

The 4's were Taiyo Yuden and the 8's were Hitachi/Maxell.

I admit I had to dig a little but I got em!
