A question about getting on the US servers with a Eu console.

Is it actualy possible to do this i have a magic 3.6 swap disk i want to get on the US socom 2 servers because a few of my mates have US ps2's and do this i dont actualy want to buy a whole new console at the moment i just have the Eu version i know its not possible to do it on that but if i bought a US verison could i do it ?

You can only do it with a US ps2 and US ethernet adapter.
There's one catch though: even with a US ps2,unless you have a really fast connection , It'll be one major Lag fest, and on US servers, people with too much lag just simply get booted out of games.
