HEllo all you helpful people out there,
i purchased the ps2 game Brian LAra's Cricket and i want to make a legal copy of the game in case the original gets damaged. I have tryed everything to copy it, ive used DVD decrypter and alcohol 120, it reads the disk, but in around 90 percent of writing it shows an error and backing up isnt succussful. Is this because the game has copy right protection in it or something? What is the problem?
I will be grateful for help from all you geniuses!

How is the condition of the disk? Clean it before use.

yeh the disk was clean,
it just wont write, ive got a copy of the error report given by Alcohol 120:

thats what it says,
do you think it is because the game has a new copy right protection?
ive scanned the disk with A-Ray and it says:

LibCrypt/PSX detected -> J:\BLIC2005 [42C13DA1]

Nah PS2 games dont have protection on them except dummy files etc. (well.. so ive heard anyway)

I checked, the game dosent need a patch so could you put the game into your DVD drive and tell me what files you have.

List them all.

Then I may b able to help you!

hey jin666,
There are three different types of files when i open the game,
One of them is a whole fyle of BL2 data,
The other file says SLES_527.17. When i click to open this file windows cant open it, i have to use the internet.
The other file is a file called SYSTEM. It canot be opened.
