Is DVDShrink3.2 buggy or is it me ? Help!

Why won't DVDShrink3.2 allow me to select "Shut Down When Complete" ? I'm backing up my files to my harddrive but after clicking BACKUP and then the OPTIONS tab, the 'shutdown' option is always blanked out. What am I doing wrong?

Any help or advice will be much appreciated.

I believe that the "Shut down when complete" option has to do with burning DVDs only. I don't think it will let you do this with backing up to your hard drive. I could be wrong but, that is what its seems is going on.

If the option is grayed out, usually that means your motherboard does not support that function.

Thanks both for your replies.

Having tried this out on my brother's computer (which is XP and newer) the shutdown option is available even when backing up to harddrive. Thanks for this suggestion though Pop_Smith. Any other thoughts ?

Your motherboard idea might explain it though, jmet. For what its worth my pc is w98se, k7s5a motherboard, AMD Duron(tm) 1.2 Mhz Processor, 40gb harddrive, 256Mb ram and pioneer dvr 107. From Nero I can select "shutdown when done" - is there anything else I could try in DVDShrink ? By the way, I've tried uninstalling and then re-installing but I end up with the same problem.
